Description
The House of Van Cleef & Arpel’s couture perfumery collection ‘Collection Extraordinaire’ is an exquisite collection of rare and luxurious fragrances. The beauty of nature, which is always a major source of inspiration for Van Cleef & Arpels High Jewellery, is elementary to these compositions.
The perfumer has chosen to interpret Oud essence and associate it with flowers. The top note is bright and sparkling bergamot set off with pink peppercorn whilst already hinting at the tonality of the perfume with the scent of opulent incense.
The heart note is a vibrant bouquet of the most beautiful flowers – sensual jasmine accompanied by tuberose. There is a woody note of patchouli, and the base notes, opulent, rich and precious, surround the mythical Oud with woody notes of sandalwood and vetiver and enveloping it in accents of amber.
In this couture collection, bottles are sculpted in pure and slender shapes. Glass is heavy and precious. Like a jewel, the bottle is signed with a stamp on the bottom and topped with a black lacquered cap.
